Mission statement
At Kindertreff Miraculix, everything revolves around the joy of learning, being amazed by the world and loving cooperation. We believe that every child is unique and has their very own abilities and talents. Our mission statement reflects how we encourage this individuality and accompany each child on their journey.
The name
Miraculix means miracle.
Miracles surprise and inspire.
Miracles belong to children, because children have a special ability to be amazed, to understand, to see beyond things.
Children have a potential that amazes.
Miraculix wants to help this potential to unfold.
The order
To valuethe child…
…in its uniqueness
…to take its actions and expressions seriously
…to understand its independence
…to strengthen its self-confidence so that it can discover and deal with abilities and limits
…to encourage and challenge it in such a way that it serves itself and its fellow human beings
…to accompany it in such a way that suggestions have a supportive effect.
And we educators also learn a lot from the children and are together with them in the “school of life” of each new day.
The teams
The management team
The company is managed in partnership by the head and deputy head.
The two discuss and make decisions together from a pedagogical perspective. They are responsible for seeing the big picture. They face up to this responsibility both internally and externally.
They see it as an important task to have an open ear for employees and to support them.
The employee team
We value the uniqueness and skills of every employee.
Our strength lies in working together:
If you tackle something in your own way, I respect that.
If I make a mistake, you won’t make me look bad.
If you’re tired today, I’m prepared to work twice as hard.
If conflicts arise, we deal with them. Apologizing to others sometimes costs a lot, but it is liberating. Forgiving is often difficult, but it can heal wounds and mobilize new strength and joy.
Meetings, one-to-one discussions and further training help us to “pull together” pedagogically and grow on a personal level.
The team also includes the employees in the canteen kitchen who deliver our food, those in administration and those in finance.
Parents
We are aware that they have a very responsible task. This fills us with respect for them.
We respond to their wishes wherever possible and take time to answer their questions.
Discretion is our top priority.
If there are difficulties, we look for solutions together; we communicate the children’s progress.
External cooperation
- The vocational school, through our apprentices, other training locations that need internships.
- Specialists from early intervention (e.g. pediatricians, parent counseling, special education services, speech therapy).
- The municipality of Baar, in particular the ‘Family Complementary Childcare’ department and the social welfare office.
- Other daycare centers, kindergartens.
- Neighbors, alumni and patrons.
- Politicians.
Visions
Whether the children at our children’s club go on to become bakers, go into research, nursing or IT; whether they realize their potential as artists, at the post office or in management; whether they make their contribution in politics, business, education or wherever, the experience at Kindertreff Miraculix will remain a guiding star for their future.
